Hi! I am a fine line tattoo artist from the South with a background in graphic design, fine arts, and leathersmithing :) I started Blu Bandit in 2021 as a private studio welcoming all clients looking for an intimate space to get inked, and have been thankful enough to see it grow into a multi-artist shop with guest artists, pop up events, and the best clients/community!
My style is whatever your style is! While I primarily tattoo fine line illustrative pieces, I am always open to jumping around between traditional styles, microrealism, surrealism, abstract, etc.
I'm forever grateful to all of you who make my dream of being a full time artist possible. I hope you enjoy our little shop and welcome you to the Blu Bandit family.

Howdy! Tattoos have been one of the biggest parts of my life since the moment I turned 18 - my goal as a kid was to be fully tattooed by 30. Before I decided I wanted to be a full-time artist, I tattooed my whole front right leg as an experiment to see if tattooing was the path for me. Three years later, I love it more than anything and have developed a style that blends the boldness of American Traditional and the creativity of Illustrative.
A majority of my inspiration for designs comes from music, specifically country and psychedelic rock. My goal is to create tattoos that are easily recognizable and stand the test of time. I'm open to all ideas and would love to help bring your vision to life!

Hi im Nico, a tattoo artist originally from Minnesota, currently working in Washington, DC, and now back to Boulder, Colorado. I’ve had the privilage to tattoo full time now for a bit over three years.
I specialize in fine line tattooing, blending playful linework with semi-abstract elements to create a sketchbook-inspired, contemporary feel. My work often draws from architecture, botanicals, fruits, and table settings, and it’s constantly evolving as I love to find new inspiration.
I was raised in a family of artists, and I feel deeply grateful to be able to pursue a creative path. I’m committed to continually growing my practice and pushing my work forward.
Beyond the craft itself, I care a lot about collaboration and fostering a mutually safe, welcoming environment within an industry that doesn’t always prioritize it. I especially love working with queer clientele, and I see tattooing as both a personal and inherently queer act. Creating spaces where people feel comfortable, seen, and respected is central to everything I do. I so look forward to hearing from any of you.

hi there! my name is Sara and i’ve been a tattoo artist since 2022.
I am originally from Eagle, Colorado and have been bopping around the northwest denver metro area for the past 8 years.
my style leans illustrative, I love combining varied line weights, dots, and different textures. my style is heavily influenced by woodcut, traditional, pointillism, and illustrative work.
I absolutely love creating flash and aim to create 1-2 flash sheets a month. I typically do themed flash synched with the zodiac calendar, as well as anything else i’m feeling inspired by that month. I also absolutely love doing custom projects and seeing your visions come to life!
when not tattooing, you can find me hanging with my 3 cats, going birding, spending time in nature, or doing other forms of art!
my other art facets include bird photography, polymer clay, painting, knitting, scrapbooking, and digital collage.

Our sweet Leah works hard to ensure your time in Blu Bandit is as enjoyable as possible! Leah keeps things running smoothly so that we can focus on making great art for you. You can often find her sprawled on the couch in our waiting area, so be sure to say hi and thank her for putting up with us!
Her extra hard job is assisting Mayla with booking submissions and email correspondence, so she deserves a forehead kiss for that alone.
